Lynda Spann is the founder of the Lesbian Couples Institute based out of Denver, Colorado.
We all know that lesbian dating is hard. So once we finally find love, we want to make sure that we do everything we can to build the best possible relationship with our partner.
What’s the best way for lesbians to build a great relationship, and what kinds of challenges can we expect to run into?
Obviously lots of relationship advice is universally applicable, and it doesn’t matter if you’re in a same-sex relationship or a heterosexual one. But it can’t be denied that the lived experience of being a lesbian in love with another woman does have unique differences. And who better to talk about this with than a marriage and family therapist who also happens to be a lesbian herself?
That’s why I was so excited to interview Dr. Lynda Spann.
In this episode Lynda Spann and I discuss:
This is an episode you don’t want to miss.

She founded the Lesbian Couples Institute in 2018, in Denver Colorado. Their motto is “love is a journey we take together.”
If you enjoyed my interview with Dr. Lynda Spann you will also enjoy hearing me talk to therapist Dr. Julie Helmrich, where she teaches couples how to navigate and resolve conflicts.
