Lesbian Dating: Tips For Staying Happy and Centered (And Avoiding Desperation), Even When Single and Lonely. With Sharon Salzberg

Desperation Can Be Avoided.

Lesbian dating Is hard, but desperation can be avoided, no matter how bad things get.

Whether you’re a lesbian dating for the first time, or whether you’ve had a ton of experience in the lesbian dating scene, the truth is, we are all human. And it’s human nature to be afraid of rejection and loss.

When we’re dealing with hard situations in life, like heartbreak and loneliness, it’s easy to be overcome by self-judgment and negativity. But self-judgment and negativity can lead to desperation, why is why they’re really problematic in lesbian dating.

“You Can’t Hide From The Blind”

You see… women are highly intuitive.

Women can “smell” desperation and fear and insecurity. Those qualities are huge turn-offs that can’t be hidden from other women. Because women can sense each other’s anxiety and low self-esteem.

Lesbian dating is all about being exposed, because other women can see us in ways men cannot.

So if we want to have more success in lesbian dating… we have to find a way to cope with our shame and our inner critics and all the emotions that overwhelm us and lead to desperation. Not by dimming our light and squashing these emotions, but by owning them. By becoming stronger and more powerful than the emotions themselves.

That’s hot.

It’s very sexy when a woman can be both wild AND in control at the same time – standing in her power while still feeling the full range of her emotions. A woman capable of owning her emotions like that is a force to be reckoned with.

You, too.

The good news is anyone can learn to do this.

There are practical tools that anyone can use to strengthen our capacity to cope with our emotions and handle ourselves in a way that is sexier, and more attractive to other women.

These are tools that can help you avoid desperation forever.

That’s why I invited Sharon Salzberg onto my podcast.

Sharon Salzberg is a world-renowned Buddhist meditation teacher who I knew would be the perfect person to ask about these mind tricks for being stronger and more powerful in the face of our emotions.

In this interview you will learn:

  • A strategy for feeling more whole, so you don’t cling with neediness or desperation to the women you meet;
  • The antidote to anger and fear, so you can keep it together when connecting with women you’re attracted to (even when there’s drama);
  • A trick for overcoming habitual self-criticism, so you can project more confidence when dating; and
  • A technique for becoming stronger (and more powerful) than your negative emotions, so women you meet see and sense that you’re capable of accessing and expressing the full range of emotions (which is hot) while still “owning it” and remaining in control of your business.

Practicing and mastering these methods will make you far more attractive to the women you meet. That’s why I am so excited that Sharon Salzberg shared her wisdom with us on the podcast.
